LYONS BROOK - John Peter Cameron, 80, of Scotch Hill Road, Lyons Brook, passed away January 28, 2007, in the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care Unit, New Glasgow. He was a son of the late James and Florence (Cotter) Cameron. Born in River John, he worked for the Department of Highways for a number of years. He is survived by his wife, Marion; son, James, Ontario; and daughter, Rhonda Fraser, Halifax. He is also survived by sisters: May Watt, Dartmouth; Mable Zinck (John McGee), Truro; Dorothy Kingman, New Glasgow; and Marie (Hugh) Langille, River John. Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral service by request of the deceased. Arrangements are under the direction of McLaren Funeral Service, Pictou.
