BAMFORD, JARVIS STEWART At the Harvey Hospital on April 16, 2004, Jarvis S. Bamford of Lake George, NB, passed away at the age of 69. Born in Kingsclear, NB, he was a son of the late John Jarvis and Inez Mary (Key) Bamford and husband of the late Shirley Eileen (Stairs) Bamford. He is survived by a son Darron of Lake George; four sisters Kay Sanford (Clifford) of Oromocto, Bessie Currie of Island View, Betty Ingham of Halifax, Carol Alison (George) of Penobsquis, NB; two brothers Percy Bamford (Betty) of New Maryland and Bill Bamford (Carol) of Calgary, Alberta; his close companion Helena Rosborough of Harvey; mother-in-law Elsie Stairs; inlaws Alton Stairs (Donna) of Strathmore, Alberta, Earl Stairs (Sharon) of Lake George, Eugene Stairs (Mary) of Priceville, Robert Stairs of Magundy, Hugh Stairs (Deanne) of Magundy, Junior Stairs (Elaine) of Lake George, David (Chris) of Strathmore, Alberta; a sister-in-law Deborah Lofstrom (Brian) of Mazerolle Settlement; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by an infant brother Derrek. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton with visitation being held Monday, April 19, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Anglican Church in Magaguadavic, NB, with Father Bob Barry officiating. The interment will be held at a later date in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Magaguadavic, NB.
