ANNIE MAY (CHAMBERS) FOSTER
FOSTER, ANNIE MAY (CHAMBERS) The death of Annie May (Chambers) Foster of Fredericton occurred on Monday, April 26, 2004 at Woolastook Manor Nursing Home in Gagetown, NB. Born in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Mary (Owen) Chambers. Mrs. Foster worked the Information Desk for the Department of Supply and Services, was a member of St. Anthony's Church and a former member of various seniors groups. She enjoyed playing cards and liked reading. Mrs. Foster is survived by a daughter, Mary Case (Fred) of Fredericton; a son, Jack Foster (Jeanine) of McLeod Hill, NB; one grandson, Jimmy; three great grandchildren and one great great grandson; a brother, Reggie Chambers (Lorraine) of Ottawa, ON; a sister, Margaret Herbert of Fredericton; sisterin-law, Betty Chambers of Lively, ON; one niece; four nephews; and two great nieces. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Walter in 2003 and one daughter, Eleanor in 1971; one brother, Nick Chambers. Although there will be no visitation by request, friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, at 11 am from the St. Anthony's Church, Fredericton with Father John Ighacho as the Celebrant. Interment will follow in the St. Anthony's Cemetery. For those who wish remembrances to the Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
