EMMERSON, VERA IRENE The death of Vera Irene Emmerson of Minto, occurred Saturday, May 1, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton. Born at Rothwell, NB, she was the daughter of the late George and Mina Graham. Surviving are two sons, Cyril Emmerson (Anne) of Elloitt Lake, ON and Winston Emmerson (Lucille) of Welland, ON; seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; a brother, James Richardson (Vivian) of New Zion and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Vera was predeceased by her husband, William Emmerson in 2000, a daughter Deanne, a son Daryll, an infant baby, a sister Velma Chase and three brothers, Garnet Richardson, Fred Richardson and Gerald Richardson. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) where the family will receive visitors on Monday evening 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church with Rev. Eileen Irish officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
