MOREHOUSE, D. WEAVER Mr. D. Weaver Morehouse, husband of the late Georgina (Jean) (Jonah) Morehouse of Central NB Nursing Home, formerly of Blissfield, NB, passed away Monday, May 3rd at Central NB Nursing Home, Boiestown, NB, at the age of 97. Born in Blissfield, NB he was the son of the late Levi and Annie (Weaver) Morehouse. He was a member of Blissfield United Baptist Church, member of the Masonic Lodge F&AM (Landmark #51). He was involved with St. John Ambulance, County Counsel and School Board Member in his younger years. Member of Doaktown Senior Citizens Club. He was a self employed welder and mechanic with Weaver Morehouse & Sons. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by one son Lee (Jean) of Blissfield; one daughter June Veno (Frank) of Fredericton; eight grand children; Dale (Cindy) Morehouse of Blissfield; Brenda (Russell) Hopper of Moncton; Stuart (Allana) Morehouse of Fredericton; Kevin (Carol) Morehouse of Fredericton; Lyndon Morehouse (Tracy Soucy) of Fredericton; Brian (Joy) Veno of Fredericton; Donna Phillips of Calgary; Keith (Kate) Veno of Bend, Oregon, eight great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. He is predeceased by his parents, his wife, three sisters, Hazel, Mabel and Nan, one brother Vernon, one grandson, three great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.. Mr. D. Weaver Morehouse is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 579 Main Street, Doaktown, NB with visitation Wednesday 7-9 and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 7th at 2 p.m. from Davidson's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Gorman officiating.
