HAMILTON, KATHLEEN "ETHEL" ELIZABETH (MCKEIL) The death of Kathleen "Ethel" Elizabeth (McKeil) Hamilton formerly of Marysville, wife of the late Ralph Hamilton, occurred at the Pine Grove Nursing Home on May 4, 2004. Born in Chelmsford, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Herbert McKeil and Alice Agatha (Chambers) McKeil Fitzpatrick. She was a member of the St. Anthony's CWL, the Fredericton Legion Auxiliary, was very active in Our Lady of Fatima for many years, and worked for Hartts Shoe Factory for 30 years. Ethel is survived by sons Ralph Hamilton (Alice) of Maugerville NB, Darrell Hamilton (Linda) of Nanaimo BC, and Reid Hamilton (Marianne) of Fredericton; daughters Joyce Flinn (Walter) of Summerside PEI, Donna Lyons (James) of Fredericton; 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren; her cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Besides her husband and parents she was predeceased by brothers Frank McKiel, Leyman McKiel, Byron Fitzpatrick and Norman Fitzpatrick and sisters Irene Forbes and Mildred Allen. She was the last surviving member of her family. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. There will be a Marysville Legion Auxiliary #15 Tribute Service on Thursday at 7 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11 AM at the Saint Anthony's Church. Rev. John Ighacho will be the celebrant. Interment will be held at the Saint Anthony's Cemetery. A reception will follow in the church hall.
