Judith "Judy" Gail (English) Norris

MacLellan's Brook - Judith "Judy" Gail (English) Norris, 58, of MacLellan's Brook, died peacefully at the Aberdeen Hospital on Saturday, September 8th, 2007, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Frank; daughter, Cindy (Derek) DeCoste, New Glasgow; twin sons, Frank Jr. (Kathy), MacLellan's Brook; John (Carole), Westville. She was loved and will always be remembered by five adoring grandchildren: Ethan DeCoste, Keigan and Hannah Norris and Kayla and Kelsey Norris. She is also survived by her mother, Mary English; brother, Lloyd (Sherry) English, two sisters, Christine and Jennie English, all of Thorburn. She is survived by two nieces and two nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and great nieces and nephews. Judy will also be missed by her faithful companion Morgan. She was predeceased by her father, Lloyd English Sr., and her grandson, Cameron Norris. Mom worked hard all of her life, when she wasn't working at home she was employed by IGA and the Royal Donut Hole until they closed and then Shopper's Drug Mart, until she became a full-time babysitter for her grandchildren. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton. Mom was a loving and giving person - always smiling and thanking everyone for all they did for her even when she was sick. Visitation was held Monday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) from First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Burial will be in Thorburn Cemetery. Donations in Judy's memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society or Unit. "Mom it is our turn now to thank you, for being a devoted wife, loving and giving mother and doting grandmother. We will always love you."
