MOORE, DONALD MAYES The passing of Donald Mayes Moore, of Fredericton, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, May 16, 2004 at the age of 86. Born in in Gagetown, NB, he was a son of the late James and Maude (Mayes) Moore. He was a past president of the Gagetown Royal Canadian Legion, a member of U.C.T. Donald was an avid hunter and fisherman. He served overseas during World War II as a Sgt. Major of the Military Police in England. He was well known throughout the Maritimes where he worked for many years as a salesman. Surviving are his wife Joan, sons Phillip and wife Emily of Upper Gagetown, David and wife Linda of Island View, a daughter Carol Scott of Fredericton, four grandchildren, Krista O'Gorman (Tim) of Burlington, Ontario, Terri-Lee Stiles (Kurt) of Fredericton, Tarryn Moore of London, England, Gregory Moore of Calgary, two great grandchildren Connor Stiles and Liam O'Gorman, a brother Robert Moore and wife Linda of Gagetown, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three brothers, Lloyd, Claude and Doug. There will be no visitation. A private burial service will be held. Bishop's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
