GEORGE HENRY "BUD" RINEHART

RINEHART, GEORGE HENRY "BUD" The death of George "Bud" Rinehart of Fredericton, NB occurred on Monday, May 17th, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB he was the son of the late William H. and Ida (Cox) Rinehart and was predeceased by his loving wife Frances (Allan) Rinehart. Bud served as a captain with the RCASC in England, France, Holland and Germany during WWII. He retired from NB Power in 1977 after 31 years of service. Bud then started his second career with his son, Brian, at his dental offices where he worked in several capacities until his final retirement last year at the age of 88. He was known for his involvement with the various church groups and the Scouting movement in Fredericton. He will always be remembered for his kind spirit and generosity of heart. Bud is survived by two sons, Malcolm (Karin) Rinehart and Dr. Brian Rinehart all of Fredericton, NB; two daughters, Elizabeth Webb (Mac) of Fredericton, NB and Pamela Bruce (Robert) of Winnipeg, MB; four grandchildren, Allan Webb, Chris and Jordon Rinehart and Lindsay Bruce; two great grandchildren, Kassie and Makenzie; three brothers, Donald, Gordon and Robert Rinehart and two sisters, Helen Morrison and Jean Butler all of Saint John, NB Bud will truly be missed by his loyal and loving canine companions, Spike and Chester. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 19th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Thursday, May 20th, 2004 from 2-4 pm. A funeral service will be held at Christ Church (Parish) Church on Thursday, May 20th, 2004 at 6:00 pm. Ven. John Sharp will officiate. A private family interment will be held in the Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the St. Anne's Chapel of Ease Restoration Fund, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the CNIB would be appreciated by the family. www.mcadamsfh.com
