BETTY LOUISE MUNN
MUNN, BETTY LOUISE The death of Betty Louise Munn, of Doaktown, NB, wife of the late Herman E. Munn occurred on Monday, May 17, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Ludlow, NB on May 17, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Bertram W. and Hazel A. (Pond) Munn. Mrs. Munn was a member of the First Pentecostal Church, Doaktown, where she was involved in many church activities. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and baking. Mrs. Munn is survived by six sons, Eugene (Brenda) Munn, Jerry Munn, Roger (Julie) Munn, Kevin (Sureena) Munn, Keith (Pearl) Munn and Paul (Lynda) Munn all of Doaktown; four daughters, Judy (Jeff) Porter and Mary Lou (Jamie) Porter both of Doaktown, Susan (Michael) Graham of Millville and Etta Munn of Doaktown; grandchildren, Dustin, Melissa, Nicky, Nathaniel Graham, Erika, Kurtis, Karla Dawn, Samantha, Savannah and Brittany Munn and Misty Porter; chosen grandson, John; two brothers, Gerald Munn and Danny (Isabelle) Munn all of Ludlow; five sisters, Leona Munn of Ludlow, Victoria (Weyman) Lyons, Ruth (Earl) Burke, Darlene (Bradley) Jardine and Brenda (Jody) Matthews all of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one granddaughter, Leigh-Anne June Munn. Visitation will take place at the First Pentecostal Church, 8 Hazelton Road, Doaktown on Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 20, 2004 at 2 pm from the First Pentecostal Church, Doaktown with Rev. H. C. Stewart officiating and Rev. D. McCarty assisting. Interment will follow in the Pentecostal Cemetery, Doaktown. Pallbearers for the service are: Lyndon Lyons, Dwight Dunnett, Tracey Porter, Gordon Watson, Barry Pratt and Scott Stewart. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
