REDMOND, JOAN WILLIS Joan Willis Redmond - 80, of Kentville, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2004 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Yorkshire, England, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Florence Emma (Wilby) Willis. She was a well-known antique dealer and was a proprietor of the Windi Nook Antique Shop, Canning, Kings County. Some of her many passions were swimming, sewing and her Yorkshire Terriers. She is survived by three sons, Gerald (Frances), Keswick Ridge, New Brunswick; Robert (Paula), Ancaster, Ontario; John (Anne), Medford Beach, Kings County; seven grandchildren, Carolyn, Jennifer, Christopher, Brian, Michael, Cory and Melissa; three sisters, Brenda (Jack) Spink; Audrey Stevens and Pat Jordan, all of England; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Gerald Redmond; a sister, Rene Hodgens; a brother, Jack Willis. A gathering of family and friends will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2004 in the W. C. Hiltz/White Family Funeral Home, Kentville. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the W. C.
