GUNTER, PATRICIA MARGARET The death of Patricia Margaret Gunter of Jemseg, NB, occurred at the Mill Cove Nursing Home on Tuesday, May 25th, 2004. Born in Newcastle, NB on January 29th, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Munn) McCafferty and the wife of Walter L. Gunter. Patricia Margaret Gunter's (also known as "Peppy" or "Pat") spirit will be remembered and live on in all of her family. She was predeceased by her son, Kenneth Paul McGrath of Malaysia on September 11th, 2003 and brother, Reginald McCafferty. Survived by her husband, Walter Leslie Gunter; one daughter, Anna Louise "Lou" McGrath Underhill (Sterling) of Blackville, NB and their children, Tony Underhill (Sue) of Fredericton, NB, Joy Walls (Randy) of Blackville, NB and Tracey Underhill (Phyllis) of Blackville, NB. Also survived by granddaughters, Kimberly McGrath-Moiera (Alex) of Miami, USA and Keri-Lynn McGrath (David) of Fredericton, NB. She was a greatgrandmother to Johnathan, Paige, Charity, Aaron and Jordan. She was also the eldest of three sisters, Theresa Moore of Saint John, NB, Mary Glen Picconi of North Carolina, USA and Inez Burns of Fredericton, NB. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Thursday, May 27th, 2004 from 2-4 pm. The funeral service will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Whites Cove on Friday, May 28th, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Peter Stephen will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
