THOMSON, ALLEN WILKIE The death of Allen Wilkie Thomson of Fredericton occurred on Wednesday May 26, 2004 at the Veterans Health Facility in Fredericton. He was the son of the late William and Bernice (Allen) Thomson. Allen was a veteran of World War II where he served with the Canadian Navy and was a lifetime member of the Fredericton Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4. He is survived by one son Bob (Laurie) Thomson of Calgary, AB; one daughter Alana (John) MacBain of Clearwater, Florida; one brother George (June) Thomson of Fredericton; three grandchildren Lisa and Ian Thomson, and Megan MacBain and several nieces and nephews. Allen was predeceased by two brothers William and Jack. There will be no visitation as requested by the family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 29, 2004 at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel at 2PM with Rev. Reginald Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Penniac United Church Cemetery.
