MACMULLEN, D. ERIC The passing of D. Eric MacMullen, of Fredericton, occurred on June 1st, 2004 at the York Manor Nursing Home, Fredericton. Born on January 9th, 1951, in Fredericton, he was a son of Ella (Wilkins) MacMullen and the late Donald E. MacMullen. In addition to his mother he is survived by one brother, Robert (Bob) MacMullen (Lori) of Fredericton; one sister Nancy Littlewood (Raymond) of Quispamsis, NB; three nephews, Brett MacMullen, Donald and Thomas Littlewood. Besides his father, Eric was predeceased by an infant brother, David. Although Eric had many challenges, he beat the odds his entire life - living at home with Don and Ella until Don passed away. He attended Jobs Unlimited workshops for most of his adult life and loved being around people. His "beat the odds" life was in no small part due to the love and care he got from his family - most especially Ella and Don. Prior to moving to York Manor in May, Eric spent this last year and a half at Anna Ranger's Special Care Home. Although there will be no visitation by request a funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 3rd, 2004, at 2 PM from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church with Rev. John Cathcart officiating. Interment will be held in St. John the Evangelist Anglican Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to Jobs Unlimited would be appreciated by the family.
