Beloved husband of the late Merle (nee Phillips) Moffett. Loving father of Gerald and his wife Nancy McCurdy of Fairfield, California, Peggy and her husband Jim Miller of Vista, California, Janice and her husband Peter Boyd of Oakville, Pamela Moffett and her husband Hashem Tabareh of Vancouver, B.C. and Christopher Moffett and his partner John Schrag of Toronto. Loved grandfather of Darrin, Kevin, Taralea, Anna, Jennifer, Marsha, Leah, Katie, Scott, Alma and great grandchildren Lauren, Lexis, Owen, Brady and Jessica. Dear brother of Mary Vavasour of Ottawa, Mabel Mains of Carleton Place, Patricia McCleave of Rexton, N.B. and Henry Moffett and his wife Marie of Toronto. Bill served with the Royal Canadian Navy in the Battle of the Atlantic, DDay, as well as the Korean War. Bill was a member of the Canadian Tribal Class Destroyer Association, Korean War Veterans Association, Royal Canadian Legion and I.B.E.W. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
