HOME, ALAN STUART The passing of Alan Stuart Home, of Fredericton, occurred on June 13, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Woodstock in 1936 he was a son of Marchmont and Frances L. (Griffiths) Home. Stuart worked as a self-employed Truck-Driver and enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. Mr. Home is survived by his wife, Lorraine Home; his mother Frances L. (Griffiths) Home; two sons, Terry Home of Burtt's Corner, Dana Home (Mary) of Woodstock; two daughters, Dr. Colleen Home (Dean MacQuarrie) of Douglas, Sandra Home (Allan Cleary) of Plano, Texas; one grandchild, Stuart Home; two step-grandchildren, Ricky Nevers and Tami Palmer (Matthew); one brother, Lorne Home of Fosterville and several nieces and nephews. Stuart is predeceased by his father Marchmont E. Home and his grandson David D. Home. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Tuesday, June 15 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held at York Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 16th at 2 PM with Rev. Jonathan McKay officiating and Rev. Dean Annis assisting. Pallbearers for the service will be Dean Dore, Pern Tupper, Ross Griffiths, Bobby Brewer, Raymond McCue and Winslow Brewer. Honourary Pallbearers include Doug Jones and Ronald Edmondson. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Fredericton Association of the Deaf (FAD) would be appreciated by the family.
