MARION ISOBEL GULLISON

GULLISON, MARION ISOBEL The passing of Marion Isobel Gullison, wife of the late Merle Gullison, of Lower Durham, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on June 17, 2004. Born in Williamsburg, NB she was a daughter of the late Douglas and Blanche (Clarkson) Dorcas. She was a retired hairdresser for the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the United Church and also an adherent to the New Hope Community Church. Mrs. Gullison is survived by two daughters, Debbie Black (Sandy), Lisa Elliott (Rob) both of Durham Bridge; two step-daughters, Cathy Gullison (Peter) of Fredericton and Joan Kennedy (Colby) of Hartland; granddaughters, Courtny Clark (Chris) of Bellisle, NB and Coty Sparkes of Oromocto; five step grandchildren; two great grandsons, Blake and Bryden Clark; three step great grandchildren; two brothers, Keith Dorcas (Elizabeth) of Edmonton, AB and Gordon Dorcas (Beryl) of Royal Road; two sisters, Margery Hay (Ernest) of Sussex and Ina MacLean of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Bill Dorcas. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Friday, June 18, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 19 at 2 PM from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dwight Munn officiating. Interment will be held in the Williamsburg Cemetery. For those who wish, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, New Brunswick Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
