HILDA MARGARET DORCAS
DORCAS, HILDA MARGARET The passing of Hilda Margaret Dorcas of Stanley occurred at Nashwaak Villa on July 8, 2004. A daughter of the late James B. and Caroline (Clarkson) Hossack, Hilda was born in Williamsburg in 1912. She was a member of the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Stanley; former member of the church choir, Anglican Church Women (ACW), United Church Women (UCW), Orange Lodge LOBA, Women's Institute and Senior's Club. Mrs. Dorcas is survived by, two daughters, Anne Coughlan of Fredericton and Georgena Campbell (George) of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Angela Boudreau (Mike) of Chipman, Carla Dionne (Donald) of Stanley and their mother Peggy Anderson (Lenwood) of Stanley; six great-grandchildren, Jaymi and Sam Dionne, Ashley, Michael, Alyson and Cole Boudreau; two brothers, James W. Hossack of Fredericton and Bertie Hossack of Royal Road; three sisters, Pearl Boyce of Williamsburg, Sadie Fullarton of Williamsburg, Estella Bennett of Stanley and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents James B. and Caroline (Clarkson) Hossack, Hilda Dorcas, was predeceased by her husband Frank Dorcas; one son, Robert Dorcas; one infant daughter Verna; one brother Raymond Hossack and one sister, Jennie Logan. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, Brookside Drive at Douglas Avenue, Fredericton North, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2004 at Hillcrest United Church, Stanley at 2 PM with Rev. Murray MacFarlane officiating and Ranall Ingalls assisting. Interment will take place at Hillcrest United Church Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Lenwood Anderson, Donald Dionne, Michael Boudreau, Ralph Bennett, Hugh Fullarton and Don Logan.
