RICHARD, RENE JOSEPH The death of Rene Joseph Richard of Minto, NB occurred on Friday, July 9th, 2004. Born in Minto, NB he was the son of the late Emile and Imelda (Richard) Richard. Rene is survived by his wife Pauline (Vautour), daughter Michelle Banks (Tony), son Marcel (Lori); 4 grandchildren Jonathan and Samantha Banks of Fredericton and Jaymes and Alyssa Richard of Minto, NB; 6 sisters Irene Butler (friend Mason), Yvonne Williams (Earl), Lorraine Poirier, Corinne Curran (Paul), Theresa Richard (Trent) all of Minto, NB, Linda Glac (Frank) of Toronto, Ont; 6 brothers Laurie (Ethel) of Newfoundland, Eddie and Jerry both of Calgary, Jimmy of Fredericton, NB, Bobby of Edmonton, Ronald of Harvey, NB; several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Rene was predeceased by two brothers Gary and Ivan. Visitation will be held at Minto Funeral Home on Saturday, July 10th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Sunday, July 11th, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, July 12th, at 11 am at Holy Rosary Church. Father Peter Stephens will officiate. Interment will take place in St. Brigit's Cemetery.
