BLIZZARD, IDA "MAE" The passing of Mae Blizzard occurred at York Manor Nursing Home on July 14, 2004 at the age of 75. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of the late Wilmot and Verna (Palmer) Campbell and wife of the late Lorne A. Blizzard. Mae was a retired clerk from the Library at UNB. She is survived by two daughters Lorna-Mae Hickey (John), Debbie Donahue (Les); one son Tim Blizzard (Becki); four grandchildren Christopher and Jason Hickey, and Emma and Olivia Blizzard; two sisters Winnie Megarry (Bill) and Doreen Garvin (Maurice) both of Saint John; sisters-inlaw Rita McKnight of Ontario, Gert Foster of Grand Bay, Kay Blizzard of Saint John; brothers-in-law Len Blizzard (Bernice) of Kingston Peninsula, Art Blizzard (Joan) of Saint John; many nieces and nephews. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton with visitation Thursday from 7-9 pm and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held Saturday July 17, 2004 at 11:00 am at Grace Memorial United Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating. Interment will be held in Forest Hill Cemetery Field of Honour. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
