DOUGLASS, DAVID A. David A. Douglass, 63, died on July 11th at his hime in Daisetta, Texas. He was born on March 20, 1941 to Evelyn Stewart and later adopted by Angus and Beulah (Stewart) Douglass of Stanley, NB, Canada. He had worked for GSU & Entergy for 15 years before retiring 6 years ago. He enjoyed traveling, doing woodworking, photography and spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Christopher David Douglass, birth mother Evelyn (Stewart) Bois and adoptive parents Angus and Beulah (Stewart) Douglass. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mavis (Carr) Douglass, one daughter: Margaret (Douglass) Pickett and husband John of Hull, three grandchildren: Jack David Carver, Amanda Donell Fingleman, Earle Lesley Pickett. A memorial service was held on July 15th at First Baptist Church in Hull, later services will be held in Fredericton, NB, Canada.
