SARNIA – Lois (Allen) Herbison, of Sarnia, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2008, at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Tremaine McGlashing (1965) and the late William Herbison (1986). Dear mother of Mrs. Jean MacKeigan of New Brunswick and the late Carter Allen McGlashing (1992). Loving sister of Roger (Anna) Allen of Sarnia. Mother-in-law of Sandra McGlashing of Corunna and grandsons, Craig and Corey. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Oscar (Faye), Dorothy (Thornton) Ogden, Phyllis, Victor, Horace and Malcolm. Sister-in-law to Eileen Allen of Sarnia. Special grandmother of Jean and Tracey McGlashing and their mother, Cheryl. Great-grandmother of Daniel, Michael, Devon and Brooke. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Ontario and Nova Scotia. Lois was a faithful member of Four Square Church (Talfourd Street) and spent her whole life serving the Lord. Visitation at the Stewart Funeral Home, 254 George Street, on Friday, 7 - 9 p.m., and Saturday, 1 -2 p.m. Funeral Service in the Chapel of the Stewart Funeral Home on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. David Hardman officiating and assisted by Lois's nephew, Rev. Dan Allen. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Gideon Society.
