PRICE, JOAN HILDA (STRINGER) Mrs. Joan Hilda (Stringer) Price, widow of Wardlow Price of 12 Miramichi Street, Doaktown NB passed away Wednesday July 21, at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, at the age of 87. Born in Lloyd Minister Sask., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Emily (Priest) Stringer. She was a member of the A.C.W., a member of Doaktown Friendship Club and a member of the overseas Wives Club. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by two daughters; Iona Forward of Calgary AB; Arlene Betts of Doaktown NB; three grandchildren; Leslie, Chuck and Brian. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one son; Brian, one son-in-law Tim Betts and one brother William Stringer. Mrs. Joan Hilda Price is resting at Davidson's Funeral Home, 579 Main Street, Doaktown with visitation on Saturday evening from 7-9. The Funeral Service will be held Sunday at 2 pm from St. Thomas United Church, Doaktown, with Rev. Heather Froats officiating. Burial will follow in Ludlow Anglican Cemetery.
