PEARCEY, LEONARD IVAN Len left us peacefully at the Oromocto Public Hospital July 23, 2004 after a long hard battle with cancer. He served with the Black Watch (RHR) to whom he remained a true and loyal comrade to the end. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 93. Len is now a Guardian Angel assigned to watch over his wife, Mary Smith; daughter, Deborah and family of Brandon, MB; step-son Darren and family of Brantford, ON and special little friends Drummer and Misty. He is also survived by uncle, aunts, cousins and a wealth of friends. Predeceased by his mother Rose; grandparents, William and Edith; uncles aunts and cousins in Newfoundland and Cape Breton. Len has left a lifetime of memories to be remembered and cherished by everyone who knew and loved him. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Bob Johnson will officiate. Reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 93 from 2-4 pm.
