Louise Alberta (Dickison) Hill, 79, of Northwood Manor, Halifax, passed peacefully away early Saturday, June 16, 2007, in the Manor. Born in Doaktown, New Brunswick, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Anne (MacCallum) Dickison. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. George U. Hill, formerly of Pictou; brothers, James "Jim" Dickison, William "Bill" Dickison, both of Doaktown; sisters, Joyce Davidson, of Ottawa; and Barbara Harnett, of Saskatoon. Surviving are daughters, Anne Hill-Desjardins (Daniel), Halifax; and Angela Gorham (Robert), Halifax; sons, Bruce Hill (Dawn), Sydney; and Michael Hill, Calgary; grandchildren: Gabrielle, Mallory, Stephanie, and Madison. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A graveside Committal service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Haliburton Cemetery, Pictou, with Rev. Mary-Beth Moriarity officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. Special thanks to the caregivers at Northwood Centre, Hailfax.
