STAIRS, MERRILL HARDY Stairs, Merrill Hardy age 90 went home to his Lord on August 3, 2004 at York Manor Nursing Home. He is survived by a brother Linwood (Janet) of Brantford, ON.; a sister, Albina of Woodstock, NB; three sons, Ardean Stairs (Donna) of Nepean, ON., Glen Stairs (Doris) of Cardigan, NB, and Marty Stairs of Royal Road, NB; one daughter, Othella Milton (Barry) of Penniac, NB; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Geraldine; his parents, Hardy and Ada Stairs; brothers, Ernest, Harold, LeBaron, and Alton; sister, Margaret Fox and grandson, Peter Stairs. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Wednesday, August 4, 2004 from 4 to 8 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from the Kingsley Baptist Church on Thursday, August 5, 2004 at 2 pm with Rev. Wes Stanley officiating. Burial will be at the Olivet Wesleyan Church Cemetery at 4:15 pm. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the dedicated care given by the staff of York Manor.
