McCLARE, MARK LAYTON Mark Layton McClare, age 42, of Brampton, Ontario passed away on August 4, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton. Born in Charlottetown, PEI, he was the older son of Doreen and Layton McClare. He is also survived by his brother Michael (Michele), nephews Gavin and Ryan, and by many loving aunts & uncles and caring cousins. Mark graduated from Fredericton High School in 1982 and the University of New Brunswick in 1986. After graduation, Mark fullfilled a dream to tour Europe for 6 weeks. He was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church and worked as an inventory control officer with NexInnovations in Mississauga, Ontario for 17 years. He was an avid sports enthusiast. Cheering the Maple Leafs, wilderness canoeing, sailing and traveling were among his favorite activities. The family will be receiving friends at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Grace Memorial United Baptist Church on Monday August 9, 2004 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating.
