JONES, EUGENE E. The passing of Eugene E. Jones of Burtts Corner occurred in his 77th year at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on August 14th, 2004. Eugene served the Lord in his community as a member of the Church of Christ. He was proud to be the first Deputy Chief of the Keswick Valley Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the Burtts Corner Brass Band. He was employed as a school bus driver for over 25 years, and self-employed as an electronics serviceman. Eugene is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Doreen E. (Brewer) Jones; 5 children: Lois Bradley of Nackawic, Lowell (Mary) Jones of Quispamsis, Cheryl (David) Wiezel of New Maryland, Kandyce (Reid) Richards of Miami, Florida, and Kimberly (David) Stewart of Fall River, N.S.; 9 grandchildren: Kristen Bradley, Krishna Bradley (Mike Lotherington), Melanie (Mike) Colpitts, Jeff Jones, Kent Wiezel (Lauren Willows), Kristofer Wiezel, Madison Richards, Cole and Kylor Stewart; 3 great grandchildren: Lauren Bradley, John Michael Lotherington and Madison Willows; brother-in-law Lloyd Brewer, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant son, Thane Edwin. Relatives and friends are invited for visitation at York Funeral Home on Monday, August 16th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Burtts Corner Church of Christ on Tuesday, August 17th at 2 pm, ministered by Graham Crandall and Gordon Weatherby. Pallbearers will be 3 grandsons and 3 sons-in-law. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Palliative Care Unit, Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.
