Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer in the presence of her loving family at the Health Sciences Center on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, Annie Gertrude Cook, age 72 years. Predeceased by her sisters: Daisy and Beatrice. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 51 years Frank; her children: Elizabeth Beck (Gordon), Debbie Seary (Chris), Jim Cook (Sharon) and Terry Cook; grandchildren: James Beck (Jenny), Karen Beck (Jason Samson) and Amy Beck, Beth and Thomas Seary, T.J., Winston and Tiffany Cook; brothers: Walter Abbott (Myrtle), Arthur Abbott (Barb), Ambrose Abbott (Isobel) and Richard Abbott (Molly); sister-in-law Betty Chafe (Bruce); also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday from 12 noon - 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Monday, June 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery, Upper Gullies.
