WARD, ROBERT WILLIAM The death of Robert W. Ward of Toronto and formerly of McAdam occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital in Toronto on August 16, 2004. Born in McAdam in 1931, he was a son of the late Cecil and Ethel (Jones) Ward. Robert was a Veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by two daughters, Karen Fickett (Joel) of Baileyville, Maine and Catherine Beers (David) of St. Croix, NB; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; four sisters, Audrey Nason (Louis), Joan Hare (Bryce), Mary Nason (Roland) all of Harvey Station and Carol Juvik (Edward) of Courtney, BC; several nieces and nephews. Besdies his parents, Robert was predeceased by one daughter, Sheri Ann Ward and two brothers, Cecil Ward Jr. and Roy Ward. A committal service will be held at Rockland Cemetery, Vanceboro Road, McAdam on Monday, August 23, 2004 at 2 p.m. Rev. Ellen Beairsto officiating.
