ALEN, BRUNSWICK The death of Brunswick Allen husband of the late Jean P. (Reynolds) occurred on September 3, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Fredericton he was the son of the late Wilmot Brock and Ada Mae (Love) Allen. Mr. Allen was the Fire Captain for the Fredericton Fire Department for thirty years, belonged to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch#4 in Fredericton, Mick Mack Trailer Club/Charter, member of the Local 1053 Fredericton Fire Fighters Association and was a member of the St. Mary's Anglican Church. Mr. Allen is survived by one son, Fred Allen (Lorene) of Fredericton; four grandchildren, Edward Allen, Tim Seely, Wendy Murphy, and Cindy Hodgson; three great grandchildren, Andrea Hodgson, Nadia and Jessica Murphy and a special friend Ethel Livingston. Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by one daughter Mary Jean Seely and one sister Miriam Allen. There will be no visitation upon request of the family. A funeral service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday September 7, 2004 at 9 AM with Rev. Reginald Miller officiating. Interment will follow the service in the St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4 Fredericton are asked to assemble at 9AM.
