TRENTON – Margaret Elizabeth Taylor, age 83 of the I.O.O.F. Home, Pictou, formerly of Trenton, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008, in the home. Born in Trenton, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Laffin) Nicholas. She was a member of the former Saint Augustine Anglican Church and Ladies Guild. She was a former member of the Steeltown Friendly Group, Concerned Citizens of Trenton and the Ladies Auxiliary Royal Canadian Legion Br. 29. She is survived by her husband, Graham; son: Gary (Valerie), Stellarton; daughter, Carolyn Taylor, Trenton; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Eva (Fraser) Boyles, Pictou. She was predeceased by a son, Allan, sisters: Mildred, Helen, Dolly, Viola, Martha; brothers, Leroy and Laurie. Visitation was held Monday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, Trenton. Funeral service 11 a.m. today (Tuesday) in Saint Georges Anglican Church, New Glasgow with Rev. Jim Purchase officiating. Cremation to follow. Burial of ashes in Hillside Cemetery.
