Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre after a brief illness in the presence of her loving family, Joan Elizabeth Matchim, age 66 years. Leaving to mourn her husband of 45 years Bob; her children: Debbie Matchim (David Coish - deceased) and Robert (Donna); one granddaughter Kira Matchim; one sister Ada Wheeler; one brother Kenneth Canning; mother-in-law Ivy Matchim; niece Samantha McMullin (Glen); one grand-niece Rebecca McMullin. The family will receive visitors at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay on Friday from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. from All Saints Anglican Church, Pouch Cove. Private inurnment to take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
