KING, JOAN A. 1932-2004 Joan A. King,72, wife of Bill King of Wynwood Drive Moncton, passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital on Thursday, September 9, 2004, following a lengthy illness. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late J. Arthur and Muriel (Craft) Wilson. Joan dedicated her life to raising her daughter and taking care of her family, she was a member of the Anglican Church of Canada and enjoyed gardening and bowling. Joan is survived by her husband of 47 years, William "Bill" King of Moncton, a daughter Kathy Durrell (Patrick) of Canfield, Ohio, one sister Marjorie Darby of Penniac, NB, aunts Roberta "Wee" Wilson, Grace Wilson, step aunt Gertrude "Gertie" Gilmore, as well as 12 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her step mother Effie Moore. Friends will be received at Fair Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 15th, from 1:00 pm until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 pm in the funeral home Chapel, Archdeacon R.B. Stockall officiating. A reception for Joan's friends and family will follow the service in the Garden View reception room of the funeral home. Interment in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens, Moncton. Memorial donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, The Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation, or the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
