CORBETT, JEANNE GANONG The death of Jeanne Ganong Corbett of Fredericton, wife of the late Alfred E. Corbett occurred on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Fredericton Junction, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Gertrude (McKinney) Nason. Mrs. Corbett was a member of the Nashwaaksis United Church and was Past President of the Nashwaaksis Lionettes. She is survived by, two sons, Richard A. Corbett and Michael J. Corbett both of Fredericton; one sister, Jessie Nason of Saint John; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Corbett was predeceased by one brother Edward and one sister Elizabeth. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, September 16th from 7 to 9 pm. A Nashwaaksis Lionette's Tribute Service will begin at 7:30 pm. The Graveside Committal Service will be held on Friday, September 17th, 2004 at 2 pm, at the Douglas Rural Cemetery with Rev. Franklin Curtis officiating. There will be a reception held at the Nashwaaksis Lion's Club (Killarney Road) following the Committal Service.
