WILCOX, MAXWELL JAMES The passing of Maxwell James Wilcox age 80 of New Maryland, occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday, September 16th, 2004. Born in Black's Harbour, NB, he was the son of the late Percy and Charlotte (Patterson) Wilcox. A retired lift truck operator for National Grocers in Brampton Ontario, he was a member of St's John and Paul Catholic Church. He is survived by one sister Blanche Steen (Bill) of St. George, one sister-inlaw Helen Wilcox, several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Leona, he is predeceased by one brother Ervin and two sisters, Alberta Lane and Lena Donahue. Although there will be no visitation by his request, a funeral service will be held at St's John and Paul Catholic Church in New Maryland, on Saturday, September 18th, at 2pm. Father Ralph MacRae will officiate. Interment will be held following the service in the St. Columba Cemetery.
