MATILDA ALICE BRAGDON

BRAGDON, MATILDA ALICE Matilda A. Bragdon of Hartfield passed away September 23, 2004 at Carleton Memorial Hospital. Matilda was born at Hartfield on December 19, 1919, a daughter of the late Frank and Nora (Bradley) Moorcroft. She is survived by a daughter, Orpha Griffin (Willard), Keswick Ridge; two sons, Lionel Bragdon, Campbell Settlement and Lee Bragdon (Janice), Rossville; three sisters, Zella Barrow, Northampton, Verna MacElwain (Alton), Hartfield and Eunice Clark (Fred), Campbell Settlement; four brothers, Arwood Moorcroft (Eleanor), Pokiok, James Moorcroft (Luella), Temperance Vale, Perley Moorcroft (Cora), Dumfries and Harry Moorcroft (Marie), Rossville; a sister-in-law, Myrtle Moorcroft, Upper Queensbury; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Matilda was predeceased by her husband, Laurel Bragdon in 1974, two infant sons, an infant daughter, a sister, Helen Ames and a brother, Johnny Moorcroft. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Sunday, September 26, 2004 at 2 p.m. Rev. Wayne Schriver officiating. Interment will be in the Hartfield Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Price, Donald Moorcroft and grandsons, David Griffin, Larry Griffin, Darren Bragdon and Laurel Bragdon.
