WATERVALE – Marion Elizabeth (MacGee) Murray, age 91, of Pictou, formerly of Watervale, Pictou County, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009, in the Maritime Oddfellows Home, Pictou. Born in Truro, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Moran. Marion was raised in Boston as a child, she resided in Watervale all of her married life. She moved to Pictou where she lived for the past 20 years. She was a member of St. Luke’s United Church, Salt Springs. Marion is survived by sons Leo MacGee, Salt Springs; David MacGee (Carol), River John; daughter Mae McKenney (Doug), Scotch Hill; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Fred MacGee; second husband John Murray; a son Karl; and grandson Lawrence MacGee. Visitations will be held Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held 2 o’clock Saturday at Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Rev. Mary MacDermid officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
