VIVIENNE ELISABETH (HOOKER) ANDERSON
ANDERSON, VIVIENNE ELISABETH (HOOKER) The passing of Vivienne Elisabeth (Hooker) Anderson, wife of Richard Anderson of Fredericton, occurred on Saturday, October 9, 2004, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Chichester, England, she was a daughter of Bertram and Dorothy (Clarke) Hooker. Vivienne worked as a Weaver, Freelance Writer and Music and Dance Reviewer with the Daily Gleaner for 16 years. She was active with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Fredericton and was a member of the Stepping Stone Centre. Vivienne had a great interest in music and bird watching. She is survived by her husband Richard; one brother Antony Hooker (Audrey) of Australia; one niece, Debbie and three great nephews, all of Australia; and by marriage four nephews, six nieces, one great nephew and two great nieces. There will be no visitation by request. A Celebration of her life will take place at a date to be announced. Burial will take place at a later date in Clover Dale, B.C., at Christ the Redeemer's Church Cemetery. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Fredericton Music Festival- Vivienne Anderson Award would be appreciated by the family.
