MILLER, REV. KENNETH K. At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on October 9th, Rev. Kenneth K. Miller passed away peacefully. Born in Albert County, NB in 1912, he was the son of Fred and Ethel Miller and is the last surviving member of his immediate family. Ken grew up in Moncton, NB. He graduated from the Aberdeen High School in Moncton and the Provincial Normal School in Fredericton in 1931, the University of New Brunswick in 1940 and Acadia University in 1943. He served Baptist Churches in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Quebec. He was a Chaplain in the Air Force in Quebec, Ontario and Alberta. After retiring from the Air Force, he served Baptist Churches in Medicine Hat, Alberta, St. Thomas, Ontario, Toronto, Ontario and semi-retired to Alvinston-Brooke-Enniskillen, Ontario in 1977. In 1981 he retired to London, Ontario, where he lived for 16 years. While there he was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as a Deacon and on Boards and Committees. He also served as Chaplain to the D.V.A. Hospital and Parkwood Hospital for a number of years. He moved to Fredericton, New Brunswick in 1997. He is a member of the Grace Memorial Baptist Church and attended the Golden years Club. He is a Life Member of the United Baptist Missionary Union, a Life Member of the Masonic Order, a former member of the Eastern Star, Odd Fellows, Rebekah's and Rotary Club. He is survived by is wife Marjorie (Henry), cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Vera M. Jonah of Fredericton; his Mother and Father, Fred and Ethel Miller of Moncton, a sister Mabel P. Miller of Moncton and a brother, Rev. G.E. Miller of Amherst, NS Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 PM. Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating. Reception following in Grace Memorial Church. Donations may be made to the Grace Memorial Baptist Church or the Heart Foundation.
