Copeland, Marjorie Helen- 88 Shiretown Nursing Home, Pictou, formerly of Stellarton, passed away January 26, 2008, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Stellarton she was a daughter of the late John and Jean (Small) Copeland. She was a longtime resident of Stellarton. Marjorie was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She worked for 25 years at the Stellarton Post Office and was a member of Southern Cross Rebekah Lodge. Marjorie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Florence Copeland, Stellarton; nephews, Brady Copeland, Grant’s Lake; Ian Copeland, Stellarton; nieces, Laurel Copeland, Edmonton and Rhoda Jean Speare, P.E.I. She was predeceased by brothers, Collard, John; and sister, Rhoda. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008, in the First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery at a later date. Donations in memory of Marjorie may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton. Arrangements are under the direction of the H.C.
