Ross, Mary Alice, 87 of Blue Mountain, Pictou County died Saturday November 15, 2008, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Mieklefield she was a daughter of the late John A. and Anna (Ross)MacCulloch. Mary was a resident of Blue Mountain all of her life where she was a member of the Knox Presbyterian Church. She was a very active member of her community for many years. Surviving are a son, Allison(Cathy), Blue Mountain; daughters, Phyllis (Jerry) Cameron, Trenton; Nancy (Kenny) Briggs, Blue Mountain; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Anna) Riverton; Al(Mae), Plymouth; a sister, Amy (Mort) Stewart, Canning; a brother in-law, Calder Livingstone, Greenwood. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Willis; a son, Earle; a brother, Dan; sisters, Anna and Edith. Her remains will rest in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow for visiting from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Knox Presbyterian Church, Blue Mountain with Rev. Calvin Crichton officiating. Burial will be in the Blue Mountain Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Knox Presbyterian Church, Blue Mountain.
