WESTVILLE/INGONISH – Mary Frances Brewer, 62, Westville, formerly of Ingonish, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2008, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Ingonish Beach, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Frances Powers. Mary was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed working with the elderly. Mary will be sadly missed by her common-law husband, Francis MacEachern; brothers: Joe, Wayne, Donnie, Monty, and Jim all of Cape Breton; sisters, Peggy and Heather, Cape Breton and Darlene, Trenton. She was predeceased by sisters, Josie and Jean and brother, Stewart. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Father Peter MacDonald officiating. Interment will be in Lourdes Cemetery.
