KENNETH PIERCE WIGMORE
WIGMORE, KENNETH PIERCE After a courageous battle, embraced in the arms of his daughters, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Palliative Care Unit in Fredericton, NB, Kenneth (Ken) Pierce Wigmore age 71 was taken from us November 2, 2004. Ken was born in Moncton, NB and was a son of the late Robert P. and Susanna (Rhynes) Wigmore. A Korean War Veteran, Ken served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1951-1972. He was employed with the Federal Government for 37 years and retired in 1987. He is survived by his daughters Cassandra Wigmore Lopez-Ortiz (Alex) of Waterloo, Ontario, Nancy Richard (Chris) of Rothesay, NB, Karen Mulder (John) of Fredericton, NB; a dear friend Eileen Etter of Charlottetown; grandchildren Harrison, Olivia and MacKenzie; sisters Shirley Graves of Bedeque, PEI and Betty Kennedy of Charlottetown, PEI. Ken was predeceased by a brother Robert Wigmore. Ken had a heart of gold and showed that through his kindness in helping others. The strength, courage and spirit that dad showed until the end of his journey will be carried on through his daughters. "Jimmy will be with ya til the roses bloom again Nelly" A private family ceremony will be held per Ken's request. A public service of interment will be held on Friday November 5, 2004 at 2:00 pm at the Marshfield Cemetery, Marshfield, PEI. Contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
