EAGLES, EARL Earl Byron Eagles, 83, of K. E. Spencer Home , Moncton and formerly Monteagle passed away at the home peacefully on Sunday November 7, 2004 following five years of compassionate care while a resident there. Born in Moncton he was a son of the late Fred and Ina (Taylor) Eagles. Byron was a retired farmer, was a member of Second North River Baptist Church and a former member of the Salisbury Lions Club. He will be remembered as a gentle, quiet man who loved his family and country life. Survived by a son Reginald, Moncton, grandchildren Ian Eagles (Sharon), Hanwell, Trevor Eagles, Moncton , Shannon Lewis (Adam Smith) , Fredericton , great grandchildren Jordan, Kirsten and Austin , a sister Eleanor Goggin, Maine and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Lillian (Lutes), 1995, sisters Lillian and Marion, brothers Warren, Leslie and Austin. Resting at the Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Road (372-4800) with visitation Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral will be held from Second North River Baptist Church on Tuesday November 9 at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Mark Hunter officiating.
