HUNTER, MILDRED At Mill Cove Nursing Home on Tuesday November 9, 2004 Mildred Hunter, age 97, passed away. Born in Truro, NS and protestant by faith, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She is survived by a son Gary and his wife Betty of Fredericton; four grandchildren Terri, Natalie, Shelley and Scott; one great grandchild Quentin; nieces and nephews; daughter-in-law Carol Hunter of Ontario. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert; one son Laurie; parents Alexander and Susan (Blackmore) Downing and one sister Prudence. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton with visitation Wednesday from 3-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home on Thursday, November 11, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow in the Marysville United Cemetery. Memorials to Canadian Cancer Society or the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
