MacLELLAN'S BROOK - Mary Jane Fraser, 77, Brookville Rd., MacLellan's Brook, passed away February 14, 2007, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth (Kennedy) Rundle. Mary had been a resident of MacLellan's Brook for the past 57 years. She was a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church, MacLellan's Mountain. Mary was a former member of the Red Cross and the Women's Institute. Mary loved to travel, was an avid quilter and bird watcher with the ability to identify many different species. She is survived by her husband, Doug; children: Bill (Karen) Burnaby, B.C.; Ann (Michael) Pollard, Trenton; John (Elaine), Dartmouth; Emily (Dan) Patterson, Enfield; nine grandchildren: Doug and James Fraser, Aaron and Amanda Pollard, Ashley, Andrew and Mark Fraser, Andrea and Alex Patterson; two great-grandchildren, Pryia and Ronnie. Margaret was predeceased by brothers: Dr. Gordon Rundle, Charles Rundle and Alfred Rundle in infancy; sisters, Elizabeth Thompson and Anita Mingo. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the H.W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow, from where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating, assisted by Jessie Johnson. Burial will be in Castle Hill Cemetery. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Fund or St. John's Presbyterian Church, MacLellan's Mountain.
