SPARKS, LEO ARTHUR Leo Arthur Sparks, passed away at the Queen's North Health Complex Tuesday November 16, 2004 surrounded by his loving family. His wife Alice reached out her hand for him to join her on Heaven's stairs as his grandson Cody and granddaughter Carolann waited at Heaven's gates for them to enter. Leo was an avid fisherman and loved the great outdoors, he was a carpenter and liked to work with his hands. Leo was a coal miner and worked in the woods for a good part of his life. Leo will be greatly missed by his eight children Shiela Graham (Eric) Fredericton, Mary McCoy (Wayne) Fredericton, Doreen Hurley, Fredericton, Gary Sparks Fredericton, Karen Kajari (Gabor) Sunnyside Beach, Sharon Freeze Minto, Lori Heatherington (Darren) Minto, Lisa Sparks Minto; two brothers Albert Sparks Alberta, Donnie (Carolyn) of Cumberland Bay; a sister Mary Chevarie (Tony) of Ontario. Predeceased by father Raymond Sparks, mother Marcella Sparks, brother Stanley Sparks, two grandchildren Cody Kajari, Carolann Boyne. Leo requested that no service or memorial be held. Dad was a private person so we have to respect his wishes. We as a family hope everyone understands.
