DUFFEY, LILLIAN EDNA On Saturday November 27th, 2004 Lillian Edna Duffey of Fredericton, passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. She was 88. Born in Kentville, N.S, she was the daughter of the late Walter & Alice (Landry) Galley and wife of the late Dennis Patrick Duffey. Lillian was a member of of the Nashwaaksis United Baptist Church. She was employed as a floor Manager for Norrad's Drug Store, worked in reservations for the Wandlyn Motor Inn, was a case worker for the Dept of Social Services, Co-ordinator for the Red Cross Blood Donor Clinics & before coming to NB a long time employee for Eaton's Ltd in Toronto, Ontario. She was a member of the Ladies Auxilliary Branch # 4 & a past officer in the Imperial Rebekah Lodge # 102. She is survived by two children; Barbara Tyson of Edmonton, Alberta, Dr. Michael Duffey of Halifax, N.S, one sister Rose Bradshaw of Saint John, one brother Jack Galley of Bridgewater N.S, three grandchildren, Raymond and Kevin Ryan of Winnipeg and Michael Tyson of Edmonton, Alberta. six great-grandchildren - Shelly and Mark Ryan of Winnipeg, Jessie, Jordan and Carly - Mae Ryan of Winnipeg and Samantha Tyson of Edmonton, numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by, an infant daughter, Noreen, three brothers, Charles, Harold and George Galley, two sisters Jean Kempton and Grace LaFleur. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday November 29th from 7-9 pm at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road. Service of committal will be held at a later date in Kentville N.S.
