KITCHENER, Ontario - May Tattrie passed away at Lanark Heights, Kitchener, Ontario, on Sunday, February 11, 2007, at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Penny (1946) and the late George Tattrie (1999). Dear mother of Joyce Penny of Newfoundland, Winston Penny of Ottawa and Sharon Schmidt of Kitchener. Loving Nana of eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Survived by her siblings: John Pasher of Sydney, N.S.; Betty Hatfield of Yarmouth, NS.; Bert Skerry of Oshawa, Ont.; and Lydia Cain of Halifax, N.S. Predeceased by her son, Steven; grandson, Freddy; and brothers, Wilfred and David Pasher. A memorial service will be held from the chapel of the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street, West, Kitchener, Ontario, on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mark Lewis officiating. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
